Family: Robert and Rhiannon Davies are his parents, both Ravenclaws. Robert is a broom designer and Rhiannon a homemaker. They live on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, just down the road from Robert's parents, a muggle/Squib couple. Roger has three younger siblings, River, a 4th year Slytherin, Rose, a 2nd Year Hufflepuff, and Richard who is anxiously awaiting his first Hogwarts letter. Friends/Allies: He relates best to other Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs, helping those of his year and younger(Cho, Luna), and listening courteously to the 7th years and Professors. In furtherance of his plans to play professional Quidditch, Roger assists both Madam Hooch and Madam Pomfrey whenever and wherever he can. Personality: Roger is a jovial trickster when taking a break from being a serious student. He cares a great deal about what others think of him. He's very romantic and affectionate to his friends and intimate friends. He's competitive and driven to be a success in everything he attempts. Sometimes he tries to figure out people like a puzzle, or a logical equation, and it doesn't always work, because people are much more complex than any equation. In failed or ended relationships, he's left feeling that if he could just understand a bit more of the equation, he could have pleased that person. (at least three examples of each of the following) Strengths: exceptional memory, good natured and likable, leadership ability, organizational skills, healing skills Weaknesses: 1) Roger doesn't adapt well to change in his personal life. Things are supposed to happen a certain way, and if they don't, he's thrown off kilter. 2) Girls and sex, especially veela girls. 3) Roger dives into relationships too far too fast, becoming possessive, demanding, and jealous. Habits : Runs his fingers through his hair and pulls on it when nervous or upset. Does his schoolwork as soon as it's assigned. Wears his smallish wand tucked on top of his ear. History (family history, school history, and post-school if applicable): Roger was raised on the fringes of the Wizarding world near a muggle village on the Isle of Lewis Scotland. His muggle grandfather herds sheep for their exceptionally fine wool. And his Squib grandmother helped. Roger was so well behaved as a child that his parents weren't quite sure he was going to Hogwarts until his letter arrived. At that point he learned more about the Wizarding world and magic, though his parents are both powerful magically. They were never showy when he was a child, but after he received his Hogwarts letter, they relaxed and became showy with their magic, so his siblings grew up exposed to more magic than he was. He's never lost his sense of wonder because of it. Roger does very well in his studies. He's very intelligent and quick with subtle magic. He's good in healing, potions, transfiguration, and charms. He enjoys competition and loves the way it makes him do even better. However, his interests are so wide and varied that his focus on Quidditch and Healing mean he won't be a Prefect or Head Boy. He got 11 OWLs, but only 3 were outstanding. In canon, Roger was Chaser and Captain for Ravenclaw in 1993-4, his 5th year. (and again in his 7th year, '95-6) I'll say he was a Chaser for at least 2 years before making Captain. To get on a professional Quidditch team, either as a player or a trainer/coaching staff is his life goal at the moment. Roger dotes on his cat like it's a tiny baby when in reality it is 16 pounds of pure spite.
